Colonel Angus

This post has nothing todo with music, but because this is my blog...

"What's a Sybian?"
"Uhh, what do you mean what's a Sybian?!?"

Turns out that most people do not know something that I have been fairly enthralled with since I was a very young kid (thank you internet & Peter Acworth's entrepreneurial spirit). For you and everyone in the majority: A Sybian is a top-of-the-line vibrating sex toy made primarily for women.

The boy in me could not believe his eyes when he came across this truly one of kind art piece this summer. I filed it under "coolest thing I've seen on the internet all year" and tried to forget about it. Nope, woke up the next morning knowing that I had to go for it. I talked to the creator, John, and he informed that it was not for everyone. He needed to vet me. Would I put it to use, would I damage his creative reputation, would I show general respect towards the art piece and those who enjoy it? I'm glad he saw in me the deepest sincere interest and respect for all who come across this truly 'woah' center piece.

John dropped it off on playa for me this year at the BM camp I am associated with, Pink Mammoth. While it lived in our storage container for a majority of the week (unbeknownst to me) I was able to take it out and have some playtime with it on the last Saturday. Turns out the structure of the art around the Sybian itself decreases the resonant frequency of the very powerful servo to one that is nearly exactly similar to the human body. Needless to say, it creates a very intense bodily sensation for man and women a like. Very much looking forward to bringing it back after some personal modifications as a gift to playa next year. The suspense... literally - you'll see!

This year leading up to BM I was very wrapped up in a large-scale art project, The Journey. The story behind that certainly deserves its own post... that to come... but back to The Colonel device...

I'm currently looking for more events and communities that would be receptive to Colonel Angus and his loving vibrations and edgy (yet approachable) demeanor. If you happen to know of any please reach out.

Cheers,
Ray
